Executive Manager

Which team will you be working with?

  • Executive Team

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to dedicate 5 hours/ week to this position

  • All Meetings will be held virtually

  • Must be a student or young professional (3rd year and higher). Graduate and Professional students are encouraged to apply.

  • Must be highly proficient in the English Language.

  • Must be highly organized, have great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must have previous organizing and leadership experience

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and tasks for all executive members

  • Work closely with Executive Team to develop yearly and multi-year strategic plan

  • Coordinate monthly socials and professional development activities

  • Keep a track of all deadlines and keep executive members on track via

  • use of project management software: Hive and G-Suite

  • Organize all materials for S.E.E.D.S and maintain paperwork in

  • professional manner

  • Attend meetings and note minutes

  • Collate all internal and external feedback from S.E.E.D.S.

  • Create and maintain hiring documents for new hires

  • Support Grant development process

  • Support in developing and implementing member engagement strategy for upcoming year

  • Act as liaison and point of contact for Support Team

  • Provide assistance as prescribed from the Executive Committee

  • Attend weekly meetings in person with members of the S.E.E.D.S. team.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Which team will they be working with?

  •  Executive Team

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to dedicate 12-15 hours/ week to this position

  • Must be able to meet Downtown Toronto at least once a week for mandatory meetings

  • Must be a student or young professional (3rd year and higher). Graduate and Professional students are encouraged to apply.

  • Must be highly proficient in the English Language.

  • Must be highly organized, have great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must be able to lead a team of 2-3 people
     

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external organizations and maintain a positive image for S.E.E.D.S.

    • Maintain and create social media content and strategies

    • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies and Strategic Plan

    • Develop and Implement Online Campaign

    • Develop and Maintain relationships with Partner Organizations, Collaborators, and Case Competition winners, organize meetings and ensure that all related social media pieces are in place

    • Outreach to potential affiliate organizations

    • Work closely with the Program Managers to establish & maintain relationships with community partner organizations & leverage community networks

    • Work closely with the communications team to establish promotions plans and targets & ensure timelines are aligned

    • Work with the Fund Development Manager to ensure sponsor and affiliate relationships are maintained

    • Liaise with Marketing and Communications team & partners to meet social media strategies

    • Maintain Website content on a regular basis

    • Submit quarterly newsletter update form from department executives

    • Update Website Calendar

    • Develop and maintain relationships with Social Media personnel at Granting organizations and Political Parties

    • Develop and Implement Social media campaigns and activities for major S.E.E.D.S. activities and goals throughout the year

    • Provide assistance as prescribed from the Executive Committee

    • Attend weekly meetings in person with members of the S.E.E.D.S. team.

    • Any other duties as assigned.
       

Peak Times:

  • June – September, February - April
